Be advised: If you die without a will or trust, your estate is considered “intestate”…
… and will be distributed by a potentially expensive, lengthy, aggravating, and contentious process called “probate” according to the laws in your state. As such, the distribution of your assets may not align with your deeply-held values and wishes.
And so dying intestate is potentially unethical, irresponsible, and inconsiderate.
Don’t do that to the people you love and causes you care about.
